The symposium is presented in the heart of Hobart with easy access to a range of significant cultural attractions including the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery (TMAG), Allport Library and Museum of Fine Art and the Museum of Old and New Art. As Australia's oldest working theatre, the Theatre Royal has been the home of contemporary theatre in Tasmania since 1837.
